Find My Plus One was created by a Registered Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience. Within this experience it has been confirmed that the number one thing missing in people’s lives is connection with like-minded individuals. Health Canada and The U.S. Surgeon General has warned that loneliness is a public health crisis. Every day people are struggling because they want to share experiences but have no one to go with them. They want to go bowling, watch a movie, try something new, or simply spend time with friends, but they feel stuck and isolated. Making new friends outside of work hours is very difficult.
This app was built to change that. Find My Plus One makes it easy to connect with real people for real experiences. This app brings like-minded individuals together in one space to increase peoples chances of finding true friendships, connections and more! Safety has been prioritized from the very beginning, including a built-in event safety rating system where users can comment, flag concerns, and support one another in making informed choices.
Find My Plus One exists to rebuild community, reduce isolation, and give people the confidence and freedom of never having to go anywhere alone.
